This is our 2nd year at the park. We very much enjoy the park and what it has to offer. We were seeking a place to put our trailer permanently and found a spot steps from the beach. Very nice
-EXPENSIVE ($120 for 2 awful, sleepless nights with 1 small tent)-Cash only-Rude staff (racist comments, attitude of not really caring if you stay or not)-Unbelievably small lot. I'm pretty sure they divided lots in 2 so they could cram more people in. The back of our tent was almost touching the next person's picnic table which was almost touching their tent trailer!-Weed and cigarette smoke everywhere including the bathrooms. Because we were so close to everyone else, whatever anyone was smoking, it filled our tent quickly-disgusting and dirty bathrooms with empty beer cans and pee all over. We actually went to the Tim Hortons down the street to use the bathroom several times-we were assured it was a quiet campground when we arrived but there was VERY loud music all night and drunk people screaming and yelling all night as well. Awful.
Thought I had a reservation for August. Called to confirm my reservation and I was advised they do not make reservations. He stated its fine they probably could give us a site. Glad I called ahead or we would have been out of luck and with no electricity.
Camping on the beach ...playing in sunListening to the waves....campfires with a beer..smores..!!!Nothing better then that.We have a trailer on site our whole family loves it there
So truth be told.... I stumbled and found this amazing place online at 7AM after a full week of searching for campgrounds Close to Wasaga Beach. Mind you this was August long weekend. so I called and I spke to Pat, she was very friendly, honest and straight to the point-exactly want I needed and wanted at 7ish AM ON A SATURDAY MORNING OF A LONG WEEKEND. She asked me a few simple questions and we agreed to meet at 3 for our campground reservation. So we drove up to the campground and there she was... My lady PAT..XO She was very welcoming and sweeet, helpful and just awesome. She drove us to 4 different locations and asked us to pick one- I really liked that because even though this was last minute she still wanted to help us and we got a choice of what camping space we wanted. So we chose our spot and put up our tent and got settled in- then Pat came to check up on us and see how we're doing etc... this campground is AWESOME, AMAZING, THE VIEW IS TO DIE FOR.... I'm not sure why people are calling them racists online but the campground was so multicultural, lots of different cultures. By far BEST CAMP GROUND EVER. I will be back very soon- maybe even this weekend. the people/community there was so friendly- people were very neighborly and sweet. If i could give this place a 10/10 I would.
