My son visited your cottages this summerWhat guests should know... NO wifi. Ever this summer. This year. They know this. Very false advertising. Limited kitchen supplies and fry pans are garbage. Literally. Replace them for the season. Cheap fix. Tea kettle horrible. Gross. Bring more than beach towel! No soaps shampoos etc. Zero. Bq centre. Just no tools. Only salt pepper and dish liquid. Bathroom was very nice with newish towels. Nice. Staff super pleasant but need to keep up with times. Construction behind cottages should be noted. Very disruptive. Starts at 7am. Wakey wakeyA fan would be necessary when hot. Like this summer. No ac. So bring one. Angela ... I have stayed here over the past years but this does not bring me back.
If you're looking for a family atmosphere this is the place. The hosts are caring, and knowledgeable with the areas attractions and restaurants. The cottages are clean and equipped with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. All you need to bring is your clothes, food and beverages. Run out of toilet paper, salt, pepper etc., and they'll replace it. There's a playground at the back for the kiddies, volleyball and badminton nets, horseshoes, and a private beach with chairs and lounge chairs to relax on. They also have a lunch bbq that's free for their guests. As well as excellent wifi. With all this plus a bonfire to roast marshmallows on, your time at McFadden Cottages will keep you coming back year after year. I highly recommend these beautiful cottages.
Shawn had us come in to install a WiFi solution to ensure his guests had coverage in all the cottages and the surrounding area. We were able to also extend to the edge of the beach area. WiFi should now be accessible in and around all the cottages.
Great Place close to main strip and property is on water. Grounds are nicely maintained always great friendly staff. A Good family friendly place.
