We did not enjoy our stay at all. We felt like we were treated in a very unprofessional manner. The place was not at all what we were expecting and even though the website says it sleeps 10 and our invoice says it sleeps 11- I would say MAX 8 people. The parking was a disaster, some of the employees working there suggested that if there is no room on the property, we should keep our cars at Walmart, is that even allowed? Apparently our party had done damage to the cottage, however upon arrival we did not notice anything out of place. We were accused of damaging a headboard and suggested that his cleaners or inspectors do not make mistakes and they are very thorough with their regular inspection. The only thing we had trouble with was the faulty bathroom lock (pretty sure landlords need to check that out upon their regular inspection, I guess that one was missed). We spoke over the phone several times about the cottage and how I felt we booked another property. He made some valid points about the cottage I was asking for, and how it was in fact what he booked for us. After the phone call, there has been acknowledgement that the person in charge would come to the property to meet me and my team but he never showed. If he only did this once I wouldnt think anything of, but we spoke a few more times after that and each time he said he would come to the property to meet me, however, he never showed up once, a little weird? I believe if you tell your customers something, you should make sure you follow through and make sure they are satisfied. We have been staying in Wasaga for a number of years (first time at this beach1 riverfront cottages) following a volleyball tour and this was by far the worst experience we had. Although, this is a great location my suggestion if you stay at these properties is 1) you dont smoke, a confusing comment was a made about that, and 2) you inspect every little detail of the place, perhaps even record it, and report it asap (even if it is a leaky faucet, not sure if thats the tenants responsibility?)
Kind of tight for the amout of people it mentions it sleeps. Also the bathroom door doesnt work. If you plan on doing anything inside the cottage with your group it is difficult. However, the deck is plenty big.
