It's old but very clean and the pool is amazing. GREAT location. VERY quite at night which was appreciated. Wifi does not work in your room. Only at pool. Owner was very accomadating. Will return.

The owner cares about her motel so if youre there to be destructive and disrespectful this probably isnt a good place for you. This place is clean! Theres a lot of nasty motels in Wasaga and this isnt one of them. Wifi isnt the greatest but best prices in Wasaga with the best saltwater pool and 8min walk to main beach and a few min walk from Walmart.
When we decided to spend a few lazy days at Wasaga Beach we chose J&J Motel for our accommodation. We felt right at home as soon as we got there. Janine, the owner was lovely. She keeps the rooms spotless and was always there if we needed anything. I've heard she doesn't let in the rifraff and it seems like it because the place was fully booked yet quiet and peaceful. The saltwater pool was perfect for the evening when it was too cold to go to the beach. We had to get kicked out of the pool each night we were there because we didn't want to get out come closing time. There are gas barbecues there so you can cook your own meals as well. What else can you ask for? I've read some of the negative reviews on this place. I am in the service industry so I know what kind of precious gems these people are. Skip their reviews. You wouldn't even want them as friends. We highly recommend this place. In fact, next summer when we come back to Wasaga, we are requesting the same room we had. Thank you Janine. Room full of spider webs and spiders. Placed our bags down on dresser saw an ant lifted all our belongings (no food) off dresser it was covered with ants. Couple of the ants made it into my bag of clothes.When i approached the owner about the issue she had the nerve to say maybe I left something sweet on dresser, and she said there is nothing she could do about the ants.Cable didnt work for us she said we should of checked the cable chord because there were kids that were in the room before us probably and they probably hit it.Temperature of water for shower was all over the place either to cold or scalding hot it was never a consistant temperature.The mini bottle of conditioner that they leave for you to use was open used and old.Poor lighting in the room, probably so you couldnt see the nastiness of the place.Parking spots are tight and rooms are small.Guess thats what you get for staying in a motel.Owner was a nice woman though, she apologized for the spider and spider webs.We would NEVER stay here again.
