Best poutine we've ever had! (Thick cheese curds... fries and gravy not too salty)
Hella amazing fish and a great guy. We ordered 2 Halibut and chips, he saw there was two of us so doubled the fries portion. Amazing service. Pefectly fried. We came in on Labour Day, great for these long weekends. Mans only been open for 2 months, hope business goes well!
We've eaten fish and chips all over the world. I can't say these are the best I've ever eaten, but they're the best I can remember eating! Wow. Fresh, tasty fish and great chips. Wish we lived closer! But then, maybe it's better that I don't!
Well.....its Amazing yet not the greatest if that makes any sense and will explain why below:The Pros: The quality of fish used is quite high. Not the slightest odour of that Fishy smell whatsoever. The fries are hand cut and deep fried perfectly including the fish. Not greasy at all compared to a number other fish and chip joints I been in the past. Reasonably priced as well. I would say this is the 2nd best place I have been for fish and chips.The Cons:The restaurant only has 4 single tables with a lot of empty real estate and doesnt appear to have a public restroom. No kids menu. No red seafood sauce. Its more a Take out restaurant. Menu is quite odd. Limited fish options (Halibut, Haddock and Cod) yet much more options for poutine and pita sandwiches. Seems more of a Sandwich/Poutinerie joint. They ran out of lemon wedges with my order which to me was a big disappointment.Conclusion:It is a great place if you happen to be in the local area and dont mind the Take Out atmosphere. I would recommend if you do decide to order the Fish n chips from there limited options menu to request lemon wedges upon ordering.....!Best Fish n chips in Wasaga Beach but Im afraid not the best I ever had......
mom and I love our fish and chips. Finally had the chance to check it out tonight. WOW! Freshly battered large portions. could of split one meal between the 2 of us. very very tasty and definitely will be back. excellent price on top of the quality and quantity . I'm not one to rate restaurants but mom and I both felt the need to get the word out so others can indulge as well.
